Recognition of academic results and credit conversion shall be carried out in accordance with the training regulations issued under Decision No. 752/QĐ-ĐHL dated October 6, 2021, by the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law

1. Students will be considered for recognition and credit conversion for some courses when they have completed a master's program at a different training facility or have graduated from a specialized training program as specified in Article 14 of Decree No. 99/2019/NĐ-CP dated December 30, 2019, by the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of some provisions of the amended Law on Higher Education.
The number of credits recognized and converted for students who have completed a master's program at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law shall not exceed 30 total credits of the applicable training program at the University.
The number of recognized and converted credits for students who have completed a master's program at a different training facility shall not exceed 15 total credits of the applicable training program at the University.
2. Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (or an equivalent level) with a cumulative grade point average of "good" or higher may register in advance for some courses of the master's program at the University.
3. The number of recognized credits shall not exceed 15 credits. Courses considered for recognition and credit conversion according to the provisions in points 1 and 2 of this Article must meet the following requirements:
a) Meet the learning outcomes, lecturer requirements, have equivalent content, have equal or greater credit hours, and other requirements of the courses in the University's training program;
b) Achieve an assessment grade of at least C on the letter grade scale, equivalent to 5.5 or higher on a 10-point scale, and 2.0 or higher on a 4-point scale;
c) Completion within a maximum of 3 years up to the time of recognition and credit conversion.
